K-pop
Korea is known for it’s imense music industry
Consisting of members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, the group officially debuted on August 19, 2006.
They are a Predominantly a hip hop group.F(x)
f(x) or F(x) is a K-pop girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2009.
The group is composed of four (formerly five) members: Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal. They have been recognized
as “the most reliably risk-taking act in K-Pop” due to their experimental fashion and their eclectic,
electropop sound. Each member has also participated in other forms of entertainment, such as acting and
television hosting.
Bangtan Boys ( RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as BTS, is a seven-member South Korean boy group
formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The name of the band, Bangtan Sonyeondan, is a combination of “??”
which means bulletproof and “???” which means boy scouts.[2] They debuted on June 13, 2013 with the song
“No More Dream” from their first album, 2 Cool 2 Skool.
B.A.P ( an acronym for Best Absolute Perfect) is a six-member hip-hop South Korean group
formed in 2011 under the management of TS Entertainment. On January 26, 2012, B.A.P made their recording debut
with the single “Warrior”, followed by the release of their debut EP, Warrior in February 2012
2NE1 is a four-member South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment
in 2009. The band consists of CL, Minzy, Dara, and Park Bom.
Exo ( stylized as EXO) is a Chinese-South Korean boy group based in Seoul. Formed by S.M. Entertainment
in 2011, the group debuted in 2012 with twelve members separated into two subgroups, EXO-K and EXO-M,
performing music in Korean and Mandarin, respectively.
